White Rabbit. 5 % Belgian Wit

Inspired by a trip to Maine. Our favourite beer was Allagash White.

This is our take on the Belgian-styled wit beer. Pislner malts, locally malted wheat and oats, fresh ground coriander and bitter orange peel. Hopped with Hallertau Blanc to give it a continental taste, with orange notes. A special yeast blend was used to add phenolic notes and amplify the fruitiness.

Really fun beer, and the white rabbit feels like the perfect touch for spring.

Ian’s take:
Super refreshing! A new to us style – and I’m really happy with the results.
For me, it’s a great combination of easy, interesting and flavourful!
Soft smooth mouthfeel, bright spicey notes from the yeast blend, hops and coriander seed while the bitter orange just rounds things out with juicy citrus undertones.

Going to be a patio fav (til it’s gone…)
