The artwork by local artist Don Corbett is inspired by a local legend that during the testing of the Iroquois engines scheduled to power the Avro Arrow, a test pilot in a CF-103 Sabrejet flew from Malton to Parry Sound for an Underpass of the CPR Trestle. This unconfirmed story inspired Don's depiction of the risky maneuver.
