Our Double Barrel Scotch Ale, a masterfully crafted beer that marries tradition with innovation. This special limited edition beer was made from our award winning, oak aged Scotch Ale from last season and aging in second use Scottish Whiskey barrels for an entire year. This process creates an amplified version of the original beer that pours a deep, mahogany hue with a harmonious aromatic blend of caramelized malts, toasted oak, and subtle whiskey. The secondary maturation increases the alcohol to 10.5% and highlights notes of vanilla toffee and dark fruit.
