Black is Beautiful: MCCS is the final barrel aged Black is Beautiful being released this February. We selected this barrel for its spicy character is already had. We suspect this bourbon was a high rye bourbon mash.
We added cocoa nibs, cinnamon sticks, vanilla beans, habaneros and lactose to this version. The results are like liquid Mexican cupcakes. Sweet and spicy.
