The evolution of our Pinot Saison, the inaugural Shivaree Fruited Ale rested on our vineyard's pinot and chard skins and 100lbs of @popham_lane_farm black currants for six months. Deep ruby in colour, expect a tart open and a super dry finish. If ever a winery released Cranberry Champagne, this is what it would taste like.
Third in our Heritage Series, inspiration was gleaned from long standing County matriarch Alice Miller's book "I Knew Better (than to marry a farmer). Alice is our dear @miranda.joy.miller 's grandmother and the words she used to describe a shivaree of old offer great advice for the current environment.

It seems that it has become an "I" society and material possessions appear to be the most important thing for which to strive. At least that's my judgement of the situation. Am I wrong?"
No Alice, you are absolutely right. This pandemic has forced us to evaluate what is necessary in life. Hugging your Grandma is one of those things so please do so regularly when it is safe to do so again. This Shivaree Fruited Ale isn't a necessity. Until you try it.
