Did you know Essex County has an official and legitimate kilt design? The Essex County district tartan was designed by Mrs Edythe C Bakes of Leamington, Ontario, Canada in 1983. Mrs. Bakes used colours (highlighted on this can) that represent the various industries of the region; agriculture, salt mining, car building and fishing. The tartan is formally registered with the Canadian government and accredited by the Scottish Tartans Society!

This Scottish-style ale presents a malt-forward character with some degree of caramel malt flavours and a soft mouthfeel. Subtle aromas of peat moss and smoke bring out the innate earthiness of this traditional brew.
