Export Stout is a beer spearheaded by our very own Lead Brewer, Jamaar Lowe, created in celebration of Black History Month and to highlight BIPOC individuals in the brewing industry.

Back for its third year, the beer is inspired by a historically maligned style that has nonetheless led to important innovations in brewing and helped shape strong beer cultures in Jamaica, the wider Caribbean, and Africa.

This year, we’ll be donating funds to the Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund (an organization dedicated to supporting those affected by the tragic natural disaster that struck the Caribbean in 2025), as well as to Black Lives Matter Canada.

“I’ve been working in the craft beer industry for the better part of a decade, and I think it’s high time we celebrate folks who look like me and who devote themselves to brewing and creating enjoyment for those around us,” says Jamaar.

Full-bodied and expressive, Export Stout boasts malty aromatics, light caramel flavours, and notes of dark chocolate, Jamaican rum cake, sponge toffee, black pepper and black liquorice. To put it simply, it’s incredibly delicious!
