Double Monogamy Riwaka is a spin on our classic series of single hop IPAs — the delicious, controlled experiment designed to give us all a better understanding of what a hop can do when it flies solo.
It's been a few years since we last brewed a single-hop Riwaka IPA, so when we got a small amount of the latest batch of this lovely hop from Freestyle Hops in New Zealand we reserved it all for another single-hop beer - but this time a DOUBLE monogamy for twice the fun.
This ultra-expressive batch of hops shines in double IPA form, giving MASSIVE notes of freeze-dried strawberries, that gushing grape bubble tape gum from when you were a kid, and a fresh tropical fruit smoothie. YUMMY!
