Best Bitter is a beer spearheaded by our very own Head Brewer Britt, brewed in honour of International Women’s Day. A traditional style, brewed with modern intent, it’s a tribute to the alewives who originated the craft and to the women continuing to shape it today.
That sense of purpose is something Britt carries into both her every day work and this very beer.
“To me, International Women’s Day is about intentional advocacy and the resilience of the modern workforce. It’s no longer just about empowerment in a general sense, it’s about honouring the invisible work women do to keep industries moving while nurturing the next generation.
It’s a reminder that inclusion isn’t a passive state, it requires active mentorship and a demand for structural support.
Ultimately, IWD is about ensuring that when my daughter enters the workforce, she finds a culture built for her success, not one she has to fit into.”
